Irritable bowel syndrome is an intestinal disease, with abdominal pain, discomfort, and difficulty in stooling. It is also known by names like spastic colon, irritable colon, mucus coitus. It does not spoil the intestines but gives signs of malfunction. This not only makes the person feel physically weak, but also affects his entire lifestyle. This disease is not fatal and can be cured by treatment. The treatment of this disease depends on which part of the intestine is affected and how much or less it's symptoms are seen in the patient.
